WW1 NZEF War Medal Victory Medal 2xWIA NZ Certificate of Service & Scarce Services Rendered Certificate - Leathley

Nice framed group comprising WW1 NZEF certificate of service with BWM & Victory medals both correctly impressed 32685 Pte GW Leathley NZEF.  Also comes with scarce WW1 Services rendered certificate for NZEF ( the silver badge version is way more common). George Walter Leathley born in Portobello Dunedin was a railwayman at time of enlistment. He sailed with the 19th reinforcements. Conduct sheet makes interesting reading; 1916 "overstaying leave", 1917 Absent from billet, 1918 "electing to disobey standing order, in that he concealed a disease " which he was subsequently treated for (say no more...). A brave soldier he was WIA 30/7/17 (Gassed), WIA 1917 (listed as GSW l elbow, but was in fact a shell fragment, whilst he was in the first line). Medals NEF. These WW1 groups with original ephmera  are becoming scarce.
