WW1 Military medal Correctly impressed Pte/ L/Cpl  J McKenzie MGC .  Mckenzie was born in 8/5/90 Fife , Scotland . Awarded the MM (LG 17/6/19) for an action in October 1918. Citation reads " James and and Officer went out under heavy fire to rescue some badly needed pack animals , the Officer awarde the Military Cross ". Emigrating to NZ after the war , James died in CHCH 1965.
