The key to family association is a Mrs Nelson of Clothier st Linwood .She was the wife of Nelson , sister of Nolan & Wrixson & mother of Lewis .This is all confirmed of enlistment files.
39087 Nelson was born in Scotland 1895 stood 5'4 & in civilian life he worked for the Public Works dept .He enlisted 27/9/16 & travelled with the 22 reinforcements . On 21/10/17 he was WIA , GSW abdomen & succombed to his wound 5/11/17 at 41 years of age .
29060 Nolan was a labourer for Blackball coal co , Lyttelton . Nolan had an eventful war 2x WIA , 1/6/18 GSW Face & 4/11/18 high explosive wound. He spent a spell with 1st Australian tunnelling co. A sentence of 168 hrs Field punishment No2 for "using improper language to a senior officer".
72110 Lewis was a confectioner for Aulsbrooks . And from review of file seems he didnt leave England , hence BWM sole entilement.
19/368 Wrixson .Was a 48 year old labourer for Ministry of Public works , working at the Otira tunnel .He enlisted at Narrow Neck 6/12/15 .
