Interesting WW1 medal correctly impressed to back 2621 Pte J Morrow 14Bn AIF . Originally hailing from Invercargill ( surname Buckles) enlisted under false name in AIF . Gallipoli service & KIA 11/4/17 in Western Front . Large file on him & interestingly after his death a woman claimed 15 quid "she had lent him" ..Worthy of further reasearch .Might possibly be only medal issued as file states BWM & VM not sent.
