Original NZ Memorial cross issued to the family of xxxxxxxxxxxxxx ; " a Waiau lad was killed in action as a result of machine gun fire from a Panzer that had been mistakely identified as a " British Valentine tank" in the early stages of "Operation Crusader " around the fierce battle for point 175 Sidi Rezegh.
