WW2 NZEF POW group awarded to ; 9442 Selwyn Jamers Tregear .Medal group of 6 including the Grek Govt war medal . Also included Greek govt. certificate . Tregear an Opawa CHCH lad was a driver with the Divisional Supply Company . Tregear was "Put in the bag " in Crete & spent time at the notorious Salonike 8b POW transition camp.
