WW2 NZEF POW Escaper Partisan medal group
Description
Scarce WW2 NZEF group belonging to McKay Ronald Clifford 16262 . Put "in the bag" in the western desert where he was shipped to Italy . Clifford subsequently escaped & evaded capture for nearly as year , where upon he ended up with the Slovene Partisans. Flown out with a group of fellow escapers.
